Corrections
We correct errors promptly, visibly, and with a record. Corrections are appended to the affected summary, fact, or claim, and listed here.
Our correction policy
When we get something wrong, we say so. Corrections are dated, describe the error and the fix, and remain visible on the affected content. Material errors are noted at the top of the affected summary.
- Corrections are published within 24 hours of confirmation where possible.
- We distinguish a correction (we were wrong) from an update (the story moved).
- Corrections never silently overwrite the original; they append to it.
